A Legacy of Excellence Since 1978
Ebenezer Marcus Matriculation Higher Secondary School was established on 5th June 1978 by the visionary founder Pastor K.M. Jaganathan. Founded as a co-educational English medium institution following the Tamil Nadu Matriculation syllabus, the school is managed by the Ebenezer Marcus Trust, a charitable organization dedicated to providing quality education rooted in strong moral and social values.
Managed by the Ebenezer Marcus Trust, the school remains dedicated to providing an enriching learning experience that empowers students to excel academically, think critically, lead confidently, and serve society responsibly. Following the passing of our founder in 1990, the institution has continued to flourish under the committed leadership of Mr. J. T. Marcus and Mrs. Vijaya Thiagarajan, whose dedication, foresight, and passion for education have strengthened the school's reputation as a centre of excellence.
A Journey of Remarkable Growth
From its humble beginnings with just 10 students and 7 classrooms, the school has grown into a thriving institution with over 2,000 students, 75 classrooms, modern infrastructure, five well-equipped laboratories, and a sprawling 7-acre campus. This remarkable progress reflects the trust and confidence placed in us by generations of parents and students.

The school has consistently produced outstanding results in public examinations, with students securing top ranks and distinctions year after year.
